Sligo, Enniscrone. Mattie Carden Memorial 10k Run in aid of the Irish Kidney Association

10k Run/Walk - all funds raised will go directly to the Irish Kidney Association. The run/walk will start at 12 noon in Enniscrone. This run marks the anniversary of Mattie Carden's death. Mattie was the lucky recipient of a kidney transplant in 1989, thanks to the generosity of a very special donor. The IKA were instrumental in supporting Mattie on dialysis, during and after transplantation and their support proved fundamental to his family. All proceeds of the run/walk are in aid of the Irish Kidney Association. More details will follow shortly regarding the route, postal entry and entry on Friday 9th March 2011 in Enniscrone.
