The Good Friday Run

The Good Friday Run is a 5 mile road race around the streets of Killarney Town. The course is AI Permitted, measured with a Jones counter and the race is chip timed. The entry fee is €20 and each participant will receive a goody bag containing a specially commissioned Good Friday Run Egg Cup hand made locally by the pupils of Kerry Parents and Friends Killarney. There will be after race food etc. The course records are currently held by Alan O Shea (23.59) Bantry AC and Claire Gibbons McCarthy Leevale AC (28.26). The Prizes are as follows €250 for breaking the course records. 1st place €400, 2nd place €200, 3rd place €100 for Male & Female, along with category prizes and The Good Friday Club Challenge.
