The Eurospar Fastnet triathlon is a sprint distance race and consists of 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run. The race starts on a stony beach below the Schull Community College Sailing Centre. The swimming section will be on a triangular course in the protected harbour. This section finishes on the college slipway. From here there is a short run up to the
transition area. The bike course is an out and back course along a scenic country/coastal road. Although the course is hilly there is no major hill on the route. The run route follows the coast from the Schull Community College to the turnaround point just before Colla pier.
Entry for the Eurospar Fastnet Triathlon will open on Februrary 26th at 10am
